Wonderful craftsmanship, Tommy.
Although an inkwell on the desk when some of those compartments opened up would be in danger of being overturned.
Fancy remembering which knob/button does what.
And there must have been some "nosey" people around for the need to hide things in that manner or was it more for "keeping up with the Joneses" do you think?
