What is the world coming to when we need to bomb proof our schools.

and 2009 and 2010 I didn't realize the grants were given for more than one year before. Someone said they were one off grants and I just accepted that at face value

Before you had that information your comment was that Jews could afford their own security, and no amount of crabwalking will remove that fact.

Wow, how bad is this if true.

A GOLD Coast father has called for calm in the community after his son was allegedly targeted by a car load of teenagers who threatened to behead him on the street because he looked like a Muslim.
It’s understood police are investigating the attack where the young man was allegedly threatened and abused at a set of traffic lights.
It’s the latest in a spate of recent offensives targeting Australia’s Islamic community in the wake of a series of counter terrorism raids across Sydney and Brisbane, and the shooting death of a teenage terror suspect outside a Melbourne police station on Tuesday night.
Craig Pollard says his son was bailed up by the group of teens who’d threatened to behead him simply because he had a beard and slightly darker then normal skin complexion.
“I am, to put it mildly, **bleep** off with some of the drop-kick idiots on the Gold Coast,” he said.
“My son was picking up my youngest boy and was stopped at the lights when a bunch of (men) stopped beside him in in their white P-plate Commodore and started to abuse him about being a Muslim.
“They threatened to cut off his head if they saw him on the street.”
Mr Pollard said his son told the group he was not a Muslim, instead a kiwi with a beard, but they carried on with the abuse, preaching “kiwis were next” before eventually taking off.

So, you are saying people should be deported because they do not believe something ? Yes, they are naive if they think 18 years old could not do that. But it also very natural reaction of somebody who knew the person. We tend to think of people who commit horrible crimes as monsters, non humans. If somebody who you know does something like that, the 1st reaction is a disbelieve.
But I heard one young woman saying that she knew him for few years, and he was a very shy lovely boy, always willing to help anybody who needed help. She said that "she could not understand, how the boy she knew, could have done something like that". Amazing, how few changed words give the very similar statement completely different meaning.
Those 2 muslim women dressed in islamic clothing stated on Australian Television / implied: that the cops were lying. I hold the AFP and Victoria Police with the highest of respects, their testimony is the truth. The women said they don't believe the cops and also stated "what kind of cops are they and how poor were they trained if an 18-year-old on his own could possibly do this do them". This is extremely offensive and insulting to Australians. What a disgrace those women are. They should put them on the first plane out of here and sent back to the middle east. They will see how much support the middle east police will give them when they complain about a beating or a rape. If they spoke out like this in their country they would be stoned to death.

Before I had that information, I thought it was wrong that tax payers should foot the bill for only one school ( considering also that it was most probably a pretty wealthy private school anyway)
that's all, there was nothing sinister in it ![]()
