In a thread on gay rights I said that we need to be careful on allowing gay rights without doing research in to the legal ramifications and creating a precedence for others and that taking that step that it made it easer to take the next and then the next , I said that consental sex between siblings would be one to come to the for , the next will be the age of consent.
I was jumped on. Called homophobic and over reacting , but what do you know here we are

What on earth does homosexuality have to do with incest? How is there any possible connection between them? 

 

If you want to argue on the grounds that one concession leads to another, how far back should you go? You might as well argue (and I bet many did at the time) that the rot set in - in Australia-  when Indigenous people were granted the right to marry whomever they wished without permission.

A stupid argument, yes; but it makes as much sense as saying allowing homosexuals to marry is the thin end of some society destroying wedge.

This has nothing to do with gay rights, absolutely nothing..

There is no link between this story, gay rights or the age of consent.
