Bushies, my house in Darwin was built after Cyclone Tracy, so it was much more modern than the 40s ... but, maybe there was an equal amount of care being given to buildings ...

I get you on the treat factor 🙂

San choy bow is really very easy ... if you google a recipe for it and find more than 6 ingredients aside from mince and lettuce, look for another one.

Hey kids Woman LOL

We took off early this morning, we went to Port Macquarie for the day. Mr F bought me some ruby ear rings for my B'Day to match my ruby ring they are gorgeous, he picked them all by himself.  I was off looking for things for the Princess. The visitor's we have been expecting called this morning after we had left, they are staying at Harrington for the night and will call tomorrow. They tried to snitch my garden Woman Mad LOL....

I made san choy bow recently from a recipe base, marions kitchen I think. I know it was a bit lazy but I dont like to waste a lot of time learning a new recipe to then have the kids say yuck! Strangely enough they loved it so now I'll have to learn how to make it properly.

Pimpy, just chuck em in the garden, throw some snail pellets around them, give them a drink and they will be fine 🙂 Just remember not to drown them or let them go completely dry, cover them at night with shade cloth etc if you are getting thunderstorms or frosts .... Wa la fresh veggies for summer

HAPPY BIRTHDAY FREDDIE! Hope you have a wonderful day and ge throughly spolit, you deserve it!

I wanted to be first here to wish Freddie the best - slept in.  Anyway........

When my place was built there were no inside bathrooms ( seems weird now ). My bathroom is quite long (17 feet ) and a tad narrow. The plan is the bath will go and be replaced by a large shower. A new vanity and linen press will be installed with a space for the drier under the linen press. I want to keep the windows, door and slate floor, they are the real character features of the room.

Please make sure your dryer is well ventilated or you will end up with mould in your linen press.

I had to house my dryer temporarily in a small second bathroom and the towels in the vanity were very musty after a few weeks (admittedly it was a very wet winter).

Happy Birthday Freddie

Have a wonderful day 😉

Good idea Lyndal .... I am lucky to use my dryer 3 times a yr, so it should be ok ..... I may change it to open shelving with the dryer sitting on the floor, decisions, decisions lol

I am sure there was Katy 🙂 Will def being looking up a San choy etc recipe, an easy one lol
