Since we met via CW, I think it could be a case of "item not as described".

Thanks Katy.  I've been removing the leaves but not burning them.  I've been binning them because I didn't think I should put them in the compost.

I could try the milk trick if things don't improve.

I remember now Bluecat!  I thought you were very happy.

Things don't always work out sadly.

Joono

Yeah, I was but, you are right, things don't always work out. I have a sign in one of my many pots of dirt that once contained healthy plants, that reads," I tried, but it died" that is applicable. But, you know, you live and you learn. A shame but it is what it is.

I bought curtains Woman Very Happy

A lovely mulberry colour rubber back with a very light silver embossed facy pattern (2)  for side tie backs in the bay window, plus (2) tie back for the other window in the lounge room, they will go with a beautiful champagne/cream heavy lace. I need to re stain the window sills first.

But it's time for a spell i'm so very tired.

Joono Your rose is stunning 🙂 Is that lavender or rosemary growing beside it? I can't quite tell.

http://www.treloarroses.com.au/ is the best rose site I have found, might be worth a look. I have purchased a number of roses from there, they are VERY "rose knowledgeable"

Down around the Hunter Valley Vineyards they grow roses at the end of the grapes. Rose bushes help the vineyard team identify disease in the grapes early.

I meant before the disease attacks the grapes.

re rose and grape vines ..... Yep they do the same down here Freddie

That looks like a good site Bushies girl.  Bookmarked.

That is lavendar growing behind it.  The rose is in a stone planter, not in the ground.
