My post 12:

"Between September 2012 and late 2014, the emails were sent to around a dozen people, including very senior academics and officials within the University of Sydney."

Anyone of those recipients 'could have' passed his emails on to NM.

As I had already posted that when I replied to icy, I didn't bother reoeating it.

"He is linguist, he studies all words, new words, slang words, non PC words............ it is part of his job."

Even he didn't give that as an excuse for the content in his emails.

I do apologise for my slip and error and lack or research on this one as Mia Freedman owns  Mamamia  and I was getting the 2 mixed up

Pretty obvious Mia owns her own BLOG ( not an independent news site)

New Matilda have stated they have done nothing illegal in publishing Barry Spurr's emails.

At least I admit when I am wrong and made a simple mistake.... unlike some
