Good becasue  it does not say  any computer was hacked, it's only your assumption then

So "unauthorised access" is OK by you is it?

Sometimes it is ok.

with the new ASIO laws, all computer content can be exposed, I believe people (especailly those in positions of authority or trust should be careful and be responsible for what they type anywhere to anyone

it's just basic common sense really

the man did not have to write something like that, but he did, because perhaps that's who he really is

Like it's ok if someone comes and uses your computer without your permission and take your personal information and publishes it that would be ok with you would it?

It doesn't happen that often that posters make false claims like that...off topic.. as well. Not as if anyone asked who owns New Matilda in the thread.. Egg on face for that comment needs to be worn.

It was a deliberate ploy that failed.

Icy - this case it was a work email address and so with the private college/FA scholarship

Does Sydney Uni want emails going out with that racist content under their email addresses.. No they don't.

"Like it's ok if someone comes and uses your computer without your permission and take your personal information and publishes it that would be ok with you would it?"

What if a person was planning a bank robbery or a terrorist attack using their own home computer? No one in authority is allowed to seize it? No family member is allowed to tip off police?

because I don't really know what they mean by unauthorised access I can't say whether I think it's OK or not, IF he sent emails to someone who who was disgusted by the content ( considering his position) & passed those emails on. I think the public have a right to know that this man who was appointed to make big decisions that affect the Ausatralian community  is basically not what he appears to be.

I think he shouldn't have typed that disgusting stuff in the first place

It happened to Peter Slipper too didn't it? & you thought that OK, why not in this case then?

except in Peter Slippers case we know that there was a plant in his office,

LOL to the right of articles on New Matilda site - Chris Graham is the owner and editor of New Matilda. He is the former managing editor of Tracker magazine and the National Indigenous Times, was the Associate Producer of John Pilger's documentary Utopia, and is a Walkley Award and Human Rights Award winning journalist.

I don't know who said what but it wasn't me.

Mostly people do admit when they're wrong.  Some even laugh at themselves or make a joke of it.
