Thanks Deb, some great suggestions 🙂 I agree re using good quality paint, brushes etc., it's definately worth it in the long run.

I am leaning towards using two colours, to break it up a bit, a darker one on the daddos, architraves etc and slightly lighter on the walls. There are also four door to consider, the same colour as the daddos perhaps? Oh decsions, decisions lol

So true. Nothing worse than cheap brushes depositing their excess bristles in the paint work.
