I know that you believe you understand what you think I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

Maybe this might give you a better idea of the damage you can do, I no longer fall into this catagory as I learned to put my demons to bed long ago , but one day you may come across a dyslexic who has not and you may well be responsible for their death

No, your were correct apart from the typo  😄

It can be a cruel world out there.

I am hearing impaired and have been called a rude bleep, stuck up etc simply because I did not answer the first time.

I'm gone deaf so large crowds make it hard to comprehend conversation so I feel for you being deaf would be not. Nice

The one thing I would hate is to be blind. I am fortunate that I can still listen to music etc with special headphones.

That is my biggest fear going blind , as I have no sense of touch so I couldn't even read Braille

Some years back I drove around the United States with the family on a 3 month tour in a camper. At one of our stops there was a, what is commonly referred to as a bikie, long beard, long hair, leathers and a Harley. this Harley had a trailer attached and a dog sitting on it.

None of us had ever seen a Harley towing a trailer before, especially one with a magnificent Malanu on it.

The kids went over ti pat the dog and I went over too to have a chat to the owner.

We invited the guy and dog to share our evening meal. during the conversation it came out that he was 100% dyslexic and could not even decipher a road sign.

He too was driving around the country, he had to phone in to a place to get verbal directions on how to get to where he wanted to go.

in the United States there is a place that you can call to get directions verbally, they kept track of where he was so that they could give direction's

We traveled together for a while, that was one of the highlights of our trip 🙂
