I am hearing impaired and have been called a rude bleep, stuck up etc simply because I did not answer the first time.

Some years back I drove around the United States with the family on a 3 month tour in a camper. At one of our stops there was a, what is commonly referred to as a bikie, long beard, long hair, leathers and a Harley. this Harley had a trailer attached and a dog sitting on it.
None of us had ever seen a Harley towing a trailer before, especially one with a magnificent Malanu on it.
The kids went over ti pat the dog and I went over too to have a chat to the owner.
We invited the guy and dog to share our evening meal. during the conversation it came out that he was 100% dyslexic and could not even decipher a road sign.
He too was driving around the country, he had to phone in to a place to get verbal directions on how to get to where he wanted to go.
in the United States there is a place that you can call to get directions verbally, they kept track of where he was so that they could give direction's
We traveled together for a while, that was one of the highlights of our trip 🙂
