I will try and post some pictures tomorrow, it's a small bathroom and that's another reason why I want the bath tub gone. We don't bath, so it might as well be gone so we can use the space. The toilet is separate.

I can understand that, my bath is going as well as we never use it. Are you re tiling where the shower is or using something else.

When we removed a bath, we had a carpenter build cupboards all the way around with a hole for the basin.  These days the basins seem to sit on top of the bench.  I would recommend the laminex top be a neutral colour so you can always change colours if you want.

Thanks sandy, I like white and the stone colour in bathrooms.

Twinks I still have dads ute.....long story....so if we get desperate I can do it with the sisters, there's not that much but a couple of things are biggish. We were hoping to take him out for a lunch and keep him occupied for a bit while his stuff was being moved and then take him straight to the new place with everything all set up. We think that will help lessen the impact of the change.

I got a quote from "man and a van" thinking they'd advertised as being cheap but they wanted over $300 to move half a dozen things less than 1 km Smiley Surprised If I can get something under $200 I'll be happy enough.

If we have to do it ourselves I'll get one of his mates to take dad out while we move his stuff.

Thanks for the offer ♥

Just keep in mind that the costs will escalate considerably if you have to change the plumbing.

I would suggest removing the bath and just moving the vanity along into the space where the bath was.

It would give you more room as well as a bigger vanity if you want it.

You are lucky not to have to worry about the toilet too...that can complicate things.
