Overcast morning promises to be a nice day. Training and bbq with our group ...I am cook! Looking forward to cuddles with all the doggies.

My Lexi had a bad night, restless and unsettled but seems better this morning. I was starting to think a vet visit may have been needed. She is 7 now and still mourning her mate Toby and old Puss. Maybe just maybe she may have a new friend soon. Dear young boy in rescue having treatment that would fit on well here. I'm not ready but she misses the company of another friend. Time will tell.what is right.

Have a great day.... 🙂

Softie!

I am not getting any new pets, too much to do atm.

Yesterday I tried to design a new interior for my walk in robe but nothing works that is better than what is there, not enough flexible options. (Unless I go custom which I won't do.)

So, might just paint for now and add a shoe cabinet.

Last night I stayed up late and made Christmas Bunting, this morning I am doing some more but hoping to get some imagination and find some crocheted snowflakes to put on them. They are a bit ordinary. DSC_0287.JPG

Have a local lady here that can crochet amazing snowflakes. Bells and glitzy trim?

Lexi has had a bath using the shampoo set. No mess!

Awww cute doggie.

Well today is pamper day for the Princess.

I have the slow cooker going with about 3kg of chicken thighs. I dunked them in seasoned flour then sealed them with garlic and onion and various herbs. I tossed in a can of chicken soup, corn kernels, carrot, sweet potato, mushrooms and peas and some massel chicken stock. Before I head off to see the Princess I will toss in and handful of rice.

It's not really weather for slow cooking but Mr F can only eat softish well cooked food which requires little chewing. I will freeze most of it into meal sizes.

Be good and most of all be kind to yourself.

Beautiful dog.

I stayed up way too late last night until 4am. I have a lot happening this week and having a Sons of Anarchy marathon is an enjoyable distraction. The kitchen, bathroom and laundry have all been mopped so now Iam heading back to the couch.

that's a lovely thought, Freddie. Been a bit "funny" today and that made me feel better.

I had a similar problem happen when we had to make the final decision with my Kita - our remaining girl just pined and fretted - she would cry all the time, even when I had her inside with me she would lay softly whimpering.

I couldn't stand it so I got another rescue dog for HER.

Of course, he wormed his way into our hearts just as much!

Too hot to do much today...

OH is FINALLY going through his crates and crates of papers... 2 down so far! He keeps telling me I am forcing him to "destroy his history" but this lot of stuff is all less than 6ish years old, and alot is going through the shredder so I can't imagine much of it is important!

LOL, Bella, I am SUCH a paper hoarder. I try to throw out things like old electricity and water bills ... but it's MY HISTORY!!!

Not much happening here ... I just look at all the things that need doing and say "I'll write a list", "I'll work on a plan", "I'll start tomorrow".

Yesterday, I made beef Stroganoff. I'd ordered "stir fry beef" and expected the small strips, but what I got ... well, it looked like worms. It's a good thing I was hungry.

When I served up, I mainly ate the mashed potato and the mushrooms - and the meat still looked like worms, only cooked worms.

I hate storms and rain and thunder and lightning ... we have a storm brewing here.

Funny enough, I think today was the first day I only put on a t-shirt (rather than a t-shirt and cardigan or sweater) in the morning. It looked to be a lovely warm sunny day.

HA!!!

just a quick "hello"  were having such beautiful wether here atm, but thaey did say there's a possibiliy of storms tonight, It doesn't look like it will hapen though , so I think I may have to do a little watering.

Yesterday at the school fete I bought some white hellebores and a pink alstromera The alstromeras grow well here, I have an old red variety that has nearly taken over my garden, Its usually in flower for Christmas
