Yes, she has a thundershirt but made no difference. Over the past 12+ years, I've tried so many different techniques but nothing has worked so far. At least, she can come inside now that I'm on my own - the ex loathed dogs which created a lot of tension here.

On and off rain now with the odd patch of sun peeking through. So much calmer thank goodness.
Have you tried Rescue Remedy bluecat? Lexi is not too bad with storms unlike my poor Toby who hated them. Glad the ex is gone, you deserve better

I have in the past, Twinks, but with no success. It may be a case of trying sedatives from the vet.
I miss what I loved about him but not the reasons why he is now an ex.

Sorry the thundershirt didn't help BC .... The prior tension in your home prob didn't help either 😞 I have 4 dogs, thankfully storms don't worry any of them but if I PU a fly swatter my big gsd boy runs and hides, who knows why, so I am careful not to use it when he is around. he has never been hit or hurt in his life. Would crating her? all my dogs love their crates.
Still blowing a gale here and so cold I have lit the fire, weird weather lol

I used to have two dogs. Skye loved storms and would spend time chasing the wind. lol. I don't have a crate that I could put Lily in but I'd imagine that it would provide a sense of security. If she lost her hearing, she'd probably be fine.

I keep telling Mr F, now that we own our place I want to get a lap dog
I would have another GS in a heart beat if we had a home but a lap dog in a unit is more sensible.
