I so miss my local fish and chippie place at New Farm. Fresh, fast and fantastic.

Mind you, I miss almost everything about New Farm ... my retirement destination.

Googles New Farm Woman Wink

We holiday on the GC at Burleigh usually catch a train to Brisbane for the day.

Filled up the garden waste bin, ready to go out tonight.

I heard a noise i the laundry so I went to investigate. I found one bengal tipping the packet of dry cat food onto the floor where another bengal was busy eating it. LOL.

That is a pretty pitiful look at New Farm ... the place is stacked with restaurants, cafeterias, patisseries, gelato places, pizzerias ... there is an awesome butcher, a green grocer ... everything you need to live. You can buy your toilet rolls at Coles/Woolies (can't remember which). Further up towards Fortitude Valley, there is a market that sells exotic groceries, fruit and vegetables, fresh seafood.

It's foody heaven.

Aside from that, there's the park, the library, the river, the City Cat to the city ...

My place.

So sorry to hear that the ex became such a problem Blue, I remember how happy you were at the beginning.

Lol @ the bengals, that's clever!

It's been a gorgeous day here today, but I've mostly been stuck indoors having to do paperwork

Deb ... lovely day here today as well ... but I'm getting a one-sided tan ...

I googled Katy it sounds like a lovely exciting place with lots to do and enjoy.

Naughty willow I bet she was in charge of the mischief?

I would so love some fish and chips but I can't.
I've been dieting (sort of) for 2weeks now and have lost 3kg so far, but a few more winter kilos to go yet.

I bet fish and chips would put it back on instantly lol. Much as I'd like some, it's too high risk for me ATM

I wish I could've enjoyed today's weather here Katy, but I mostly had to look out the window at it
