Martini, with sunscreen, I get a chemical burn reaction. Sore and hot red streaking. Thank you I will look for pure zinc.

I think you can now get zinc that doesn't look like horrible thick goop too Amber.  Or you could go the whole hog and get fleuro zinc.

Thanks Joono. Thinking I am too old for giving fleuro a try out. But non-goopy is definitely the way to go.

Yep that is exactly what my daughter gets.

All sunscreens have whatever chemical it is that causes this. Zinc is a barrier cream and that is how it stops the sun reaching your skin as opposed to a cream that is absorbed. But check the label - it has to be 100% zinc. Some are a mix of both.

We have also managed to find an invisible one. Much more expensive but good for every day on the face.

Thanks ... My GP was thinking it might be the chemical fragrances they put in pretty much all of them. Get a reaction from some perfumes, too.

it does have a foaint smell but it's only $16, is not sticky or stinks like the one that looks very similar from woolies so i think you should give it a try.

it's always a gamble but in your case worth it. you might love it. 🙂

Hi 🙂

just an update, found the right one and Invisible Zinc at my local Woolies. Both are great. So a big thank you

To you, Martini and Joono 🙂

I get a bad reaction to some mozzies not all. I find an antihistamine works for me. Stops the reaction.

I'm wearing Odour de Cats....

I love my Tresor Rose perfume. I received it as a present from my daughters mum-in-law. I've been looking at how much it will cost to buy another one. I'm surprised at how much it costs!
