I think I had a wonderful day....except for the footcramps from wearing the stilettos, and one of the drinks must have been "off" - I think it was the red coloured one.
I missed seeing Richo, I thought he was fishing around for ice supplies....but I now know he was getting ingredients for the seafood platter- and he had taken the VB with him and forgot the sunscreen!
Sorry Katy, I wasn't able to help cleanup ......who rescued the glasses from amongst the rose bushes? Was anyone able to reach the peacock feathered fascinator (which took flight with a gust of wind) from the branches of the tree.
I think there were some platters being used by Pimpy and Channy'smum as frisbees, check your neighbour's garden.
Joz turned up in some old bomb with his music machine. As the party atmosphere wore on, the mellow tones of Andy Stewart's Donald Where's your Troosers brought upon us the spectacle of the oft talked about Undies.
Joono and everyone else, you all looked bee-u-ti-full. Erica your hat was a standout with purple and red.
Nicnacs and Freddie looked forlorn without a lap to sit on; and there was Lurker holding handcuffs not far away, mentioning the party was getting dry and Who Shot The Barman . Kopes was amongst the BRAMBLES at one stage and offered Jenni his mount.
And I noted Stawka sitting there behaving nicely with a saucy smile under her donut concoction she called a hat. She changed character noticeably when Katie proffered the Dita cocktail.
I noted B3 left early, muttering something about "as much fun as having teeth pulled". And soon after Katymatey said AU REVOIR.
Remembering the event is becoming more blurry, so I will have to SIGNOFF.
