I doubt it was a typo.  Lots of people make that same error.  I have seen a personal ad where a man was wanting to meet a "homely" woman.  He did not mean that.

Sorry if your SOH is missing this morning.   Smiley Sad

Sorry Feddie 😞 think you know what I mean

Did you overlook the 'British' definition of homely from the same source or just not bother to check it?

.

Well, some people are just so superior.

And lacking a SOH.

Hello Bluemakede, the roses are lovely, aren't they?

Freddie, what happened with the RE people?

lol, I always say homely!  My mum used to homely.  Don't really know myself and really it doesn't matter Smiley Happy.

Freddie, my dad always had a large vegie garden and grew everything.  I think most people who could garden had one in those days.  He also had the ox hearts tomatoes.  I used to love picking fresh peas and little tomatoes.  Also used to eat radishes but don't like them now.  I can remember a very early Christmas where I got a little wheelbarrow, small garden tools and mum made a little bag of super (dad used that on his garden), and I thought it was fab.

Deb, have you had the native violets before?  I have an area I am trying to cover completely with ground covers and bought one of those.  I think I now have 50 native violets Smiley LOL.  They are very pretty though.

Bushie, tanks cut in half would be great.  If you happen to decide to buy one, look at eBay.  The one I bought was $125 compared to $299 at B's.

I've got the almond icing on the cakes and am putting the top icing on 2 layers tomorrow afternoon.  I can't complete the cake until the day before the wedding as the bottom layer is a mud cake and it doesn't keep like fruit cake so I have to do it at the last minute.  Not my style but I will show you when I have finished.

(((DEB))) 😉

Tell me where your picture is and I'll try and tell you how to post it. Is it on your computer? If so, it's easy as pie 🙂

In the Katy house, things have been quiet, AND busy.

I made meatball noodle soup from scratch yesterday ... well, stock and meatballs were from scratch, I didn't make the noodles.

I was sitting outside at about 1 am today and got dive-bombed by a Christmas beetle.

Later on, I watched this lovely bird eat a Christmas beetle.

Not sure if it was the same one, but I hope so 😉 🙂

Oh yeah Katy, I was wondering if the RE had cottoned on yet!

You sound such a good cook and obviously enjoy it.
