Forgot to put it in the last one.

We only had a couple of days in Perth and then went to Mandurah and

Fremantle - we really loved it though it was very hot at the time we went -

came back on the Indian Pacific and would have got right back on the train and returned if it were possible :^O

Beautiful place - we found it very easy to get around and are definitely going back.

Have a good trip moorna - say hi to marfield for me 😉

I might be tempted to load the shotgun if I actually knew where to find Marfield :^O

Off topic - people driving long distances, when they take a break from driving, is it usual to log on  and post on a general discussion board?

What's usual or unusual for some doesn't apply to me. I like standing out from the pack;-)

I'm not actually logging on the net to scope out what's going on in here alone as I head south, but doing so to check on business emails regarding shipping as I'm expecting a couple of vessels from different parts of the world to arrive any time now with containers that have gear in them for me.

One is 2 weeks overdue because of a port strike that took place a couple of weeks ago in Hong Kong so the customers that are expecting me to send some machines onto them are getting a bit towie wanting to know when the gear will arrive at their place.

Pain in the bum really, but that's all part of the import game for ya 😐

Coming in here for a few minutes before moving off again is only to give myself a chuckle at what the gooniebirds are rattling on about today. 😄

Townsville next stop for me now.

Cya.

What's Collie?

An old coal mining town South of Perth. Nice place. We were there when the towns first Macdonalds opened,After 2 days, the bush where we were camping had Maccas rubbish all over the place, was very sad.

At our localTAFE College they had a saying about Collie "Of course, they still eat their young up there."

It is a bit of a dump but Wellington Dam is a great picnic spot.

Have any of you been to Dwellingup. It would have to be one of the prettiest little towns in WA.

Moorna, if you only log in to laugh at other people, why do you have this seemingly overwhelming compulsion to spam every thread with your own posts? Or do you also get a kick out of knowing that everyone else is laughing at you?

What a lot of irrelevant waffle back there, posts about Perth & WA are a 1000 times more interesting.

Thanks for the photos 🙂

Is that really York I didn't imagine it to be like that!

Are you driving to Perth moorna ]:)

We took camping trips many times, to just outside Dwellingup, when I was young. I dont remember much of the town though.

🙂

Thanks lis

What's special about York is its main street still contains the original buildings including wooden rails to tie horses to. I haven't visited it since 1990 but I imagine it's still the same.
