Warren Clarke, who played one half of Dalziel and Pascoe has died. He was only 67.
No offence sir, but I thought you'd be older than that.

They've got a double episode on one of the channels now. He must have been younger than I thought when he played the role.
I like the British TV shows with their off beat characters.

Sunshine, perhaps it's his way of calling people "sunshine" that gives the impression of being older.

RIP Warren Clarke. I love the series and he was a fine actor. He seemed to have a battle with weight though at one
stage did lose a lot.

Was he also in Heartbeat for a while? I think the character he played replaced Greengrass.

Yes, your'e righ,t, it was Geoffrey Hughes in Heartbeat. They do actually look a bit alike.
