Gawd I love this time of the year.
Christmas pageant this morning..............our grandson was interviewed by the ABC News to tell what he loved about it.
Hubby and i went for our usual walk last night...........we walk along the foreshore near Mona...........there is a pathway that is nice and flat...........and at sunset the bird life it quite impressive.
Last night was a huge event at Mona and we were lucky enough to have timed our walk to see the flame/light show that was part of the celebration.
Our walk takes 20 minutes out.........and 20 minutes back.................the lights/flames went for the whole 20 minutes out...............made the walk seem really quick.
What a huge celebration for Tasmania.

That sounds lovely Flashie. Do you walk everynight? Forty minutes is a good walk.
The mewling is just early in the morning because she wants her breakfast. She has only really been fed dry food her whole life but for some silly reason I switched her to a nice cat food breakfast and then dry when ever she wants it. She can't wait for breakfast now and starts demanding it at about three in the morning.

We only managed 4 nights this week.............it all depends on what is going on.
I got dive bombed by a flying insect in my eye tonight while we were walking..........and my eye stung all the way back to the car..............and now it is fine.
It was low tide tonight........... we saw some water rats (and they did not have police badges either).......scooting about all over the seaweed and rushes..................made me walk a bit faster...........![]()

No video Helen...............he was too quick.............(like a silent assassin)
He is a bit if a neat freak so for him to be armed with the dust buster is not unusual.
Just to clarify that...........he is a neat freak only in his bedroom...........apparently the rest of the house is my territory.
Off to remove this weeks pile of guinea pig poop.............the tomato plants love it.

I want one. (Neat Freak)
Mine would not know a dust buster from a tennis racquet.

morning all ![]()
Flashie, we have one who is a neat freak and the other one is the opposite. Not sure how that happened, they were both brought up the same
40 mins is a good walk, we only do about 20 mins and if the weather is bad, we don't go Your walks sound nicer than mine, I just have blocks of houses to walk past, but I like checking out the gardens

Good morning Stringers ![]()
Yesterday just 'disappeared' ![]()
Would love to share some of our magic weather with you all over --------------- there! It is the most perfect day here again today. Give it a few days and we can almost guarantee you will be enjoying it too.
j*oono you are probably fully occupied preparing your usual Sunday brunch. Somewhere around the traps I saw you were having problem with your retic. Have you tried taking out the little 'baskets' below the sprinkler heads .... that might solve your problems. It certainly helped with ours when we had similar problems.
Staying clear of town this morning - there is a beer fest on today. We are off to an art show this afternoon though - many local artists exhibiting in private homes. Will be leaving the credit card at home though as our walls are full lol
