Potato vines also come in purple. I want to plant some Chinese Jasmine and Lilac. My mum used to have a beautiful one that somehow managed to survive in spite of neglect. My parents died 18 months apart. My dad battled terminal cancer, multiple myeloma, and survived much longer than the specialist's predictions. He was never one for doing what he was told. lol. In the meantime, my mum was diagnosed with a brain tumour and died two months later. They both in their early 70's.

Busgie, have you thought of growing a hardenbergia [Happy Wanderer]?

Good progress on your yard, blue cat.

We have hot, dry, strong, gusty winds today. Went to the market before and bought some mint plants (common & Thai) The stallholders were asked to close down and go home, the wind was too strong and blowing stuff around.

Been reading the thread, loving all the pics and chatter.....just lurking for a bit lol

Well, all the painting is finished except for a small area .  Garden looks good and next week I'll get the pool man to do the pool etc and go look at carpet for the lounge.

I'm not replacing the old vinyl flooring that's in some rooms as a lot of people like timber floors and might rip up whatever I put down.  I should go the bunnings today and take stuff to the tender centre but I'm really tired and feel like having a do nothing day.  Seeing as though the morning is nearly over I doubt I'll be going anywhere hahaa

Everyone has been busy, and getting things done.  Look forward to seeing your after pics blue.

Enjoy the day xx

Hi soul, lovely to hear from you hope you are well.

It's all go here in this thread paint brushes, compost bins, animals, fences, roses and more roses some great ideas with some very smart clever crafty people (like you) Our bathroom reno will start Tuesday woohoo can't wait.

Don't forget FOOD, Freddie 🙂

I'm guessing you won't hear from the RE Principal until Monday?

You must be thrilled with what they have done so far BC.  How's the cold going?

Just called in to Bunnings and bought another ground cover.  We have a barked area that I want to eventually cover with them.

katy, I have to cook dinner for guests on Wednesday night and one is diabetic and has heart problems.  He went to both his heart & kidney specialist during this week and is on a very strict diet and very little salt/sodium is allowed.  Did you know even strawberries have some sodium in them?  He was here today and we have decided on a turkey roll and baked vegies in the turbo oven.  I'm trying to think of a sweet.  I was going to make apple & rhubarb on baked custard but he doesn't like rhubarb.  Suppose I could do just apple.  I planted a rhubarb a couple of months ago and it is growing well so I thought I would use some.

How was the princess this afternoon freddie.  No after effects from her fall?

Bushie, I was just at Bunnings and they have some lovely clematises.  How would they go on your fence, or climbing geraniums.  We had a nice climbing geranium that covered the side of a garden shed.  There are many different colours as well.  I have just struck some climbing ones in hanging baskets for my dil.

Best plant this ground cover while it's nice and cool.
