What a wonderful legacy your brother has left freddie.  You must be very proud of him.

Very very proud of him Sandy thanks ♥

IMO the police deserve far more respect than they are often given, they have to deal with some horrible situations at times. I agree stress can/does often contribute to cancer etc. Mr B was a police chaplain, so he is fully aware of the PTSD inside the police force and the effect it can have on their families.

Kudos to you brother Freddie .... May he RIP 😞

It really is a tough thankless job I can imagine the heart ache your hubby has dealt with Bushy.

(((hugs)))

A friend of mine (ex-employee)  joined the Force a couple of years ago, at the age of 40. We stay in contact, I have known her since she was 15 and not being a relative, she tends to talk with me about things, that she doesn't discuss with her Mum or sisters.  They have fears for her physical welfare - I care about her mental welfare too and she is aware I care  We are just so proud that she is helping others after having been a victim of an armed holdup that required police assistance  herself.

Freddie, I believe stress is like an electric bolt through the body that disturbs the volcano of dormant cancers.

I know he's now gone from us (the general public), but I thank your brother for his service.

Sprinkle of rain as I made breakfast, but thankful for the cool weather unlike those in the northern states that have been melting. Not a fan of the heat.

A day home other than a quick visit to the shop for a few groceries. Quick clean and hopefully some sewing.....more dog beds for the rescue group.

Plumber is calling in to tighten a fitting on the water tank.....and to have a coffee apparently lol

Hope you are better this morning bluecat

Good morning twinkles and good morning everyone when you wake up!

Running a bit late this morning.  It is scrapbooking/card making day here every Monday and I am just about to go for my walk before the other 2 ladies arrive.

Have a good day and I hope you hear from the RE freddie!

Watched that show too last night ....very sad..Freddie{{hugs}} for you..last time I was "transported" to emergency the 2 paramedics were female and speaking to them later both stated that 3 years is tops in that field..too much stress sadly..I`m sure so many in the emergency fields suffer with the same problemsSmiley Sad

Good morning 🙂

Quiet in here this morning

Wow!  Bluecat, that looks fantastic, a brand new look, well done xx

Morning everyone!    >>>  now for the new curtains, well, nice patterned netting anyway.  We're putting that at the windows of the new music room as we don't want the acoustics to be soaked up.  Mountains of side hems to do, 20 metres of it altogether, seems like miles ... Smiley Indifferent but all straight stitching so shouldn't take long once it's all set up to go.

The garden is coming along well, lots of "potted" colour happening.  I thought I was "no gardener" but oh has that changed thanks to Bushie and others here, we just want "colour" now.

Didn't have too much success at the nursery the other day with  roses though, but ... watch this space!
