Does it ever end?

I've had 2 calls from people in the past week who tell me they left a message on the answering machine. No you didn't, you must have left the message on someone elses machine. I find out tonight Telstra have snuck a message bank on my phone without my authority. I am furious, I have just told them to get it off my phone I have my own answering machine and their message bank is overriding my answering machine.........HELP ME PLEASE.............

What if the Princess was sick and they called me from the home and I was on a call it goes to the message bank, I would never have known.

If Telstra will not fix that ASAP, go to the telecommunications ombudsman. That works.

I'm just stunned at the hassles i'm having to fight my way through lately, it's just crazy. I had the message bank taken off the phone 4yrs ago and the sneaky so and so's have put it back on without me even knowing.

Telstra did similar with a friends mobile/phone/ plan.  Something about access to broadband on the mobile phone.  The account was paid for a month;  it was realized the following month and after some kerfuffle Telstra credited them and stopped future charges.  It makes one wonder how much Telstra is making from people's inattention to accounts.

Deb, the only reason we picked this up tonight was because they done the same thing to my son when he got NBN connected about a month ago, they added message bank without even asking. I had noticed the dial tone had changed when I pick the phone up to make a call, that must have been when they connected this message bank to my phone.

The Licencee from RW called and left a message on this message bank today apparently,  had he not sent an email as well I would not have known he called. This is what made me wonder what was going on.
