My dd has a lady come in twice a week, for a total of around 10 hours. She is amazing. Cleans, empties the dishwasher, does laundry, changes beds, folds laundry and organises every cupboard in the house on a regular basis. The pantry is super tidy, and even the tupperware cupboard is tidied every week. Wish I had her. πŸ™‚  She asks $20 per hour which I think is too cheap. She doesn't iron, but will clean windows inside, and tidy the kids bedrooms.

Ok Katey.

At the risk of sounding awkward, backward, totally lost ( all of which I am & obviously have more letters in my words ).

What is your dd.

DD = dear daughter

I don't mind the ironing. I have a Laura Star iron and it makes a rotten chore almost fun

OH, I have one of those - still at home 25.

She is oblivious of the location of the laundry, kitchen sink, wardrobe & laundry - did I say kitchen sink.

DD's are wonderful - thank you for the translation.

Thank you Katey,

I like both translations - though neither change her ability to do anything useful whatsoever around the house.

Her problem is - I think - over-educated.

Academics are a little on the weird side.

Nice but weird - another planet - weird..

Do you have a local fb page? garage sale/ mum's group? etc?

Maybe try the name of your town or area in the bar at the top in fb, see what pops up?

We have a couple of local community pages and buy/swap/sell pages on facebook. There are often people asking for recommendations or advertising cleaning.

 that make sense?

there is a bar at the top that says search for people places and things, put in the name of your town and cleaning. Suggested sites will pop up.

My person does laundry, dishes, vacuuming, makes beds, tidy's the place, and even get's dinner prepared.

On a good day, she cleans the yard, does a bit of weeding, does the shopping and generally keeps things running smoothly...

Worth a million bucks as far as I am concerned.....

she does it for nothing.
