Helen, I like to take the calls and say, " I'm really interested in what your asking, but busy at the moment, can you hang on for just a second" and I just leave em on the phone listening to me in the background.  hahahahahha

Caller: Good morning. Am I speaking to the owner of the house?'

Son:  No.

Caller: May I speak to them please?'

Son: I'm sorry, they're both out at the moment.

Caller: Oh, well who am I speaking to?

Son: Their friendly neighbourhood burglar.

Further to this topic.

We have always given to the RSPCA.

Why wouldn't you - always a heap of animals needing us.

This last week - OH answered the phone - always given - therefore always phoned & always given.

Purchased his 'lucky numbers' for a price - I cannot remember.

The following 5 days - two calls a day from same - with the offer of - no more calls - but sign up for $15 per month - VIP.

Sat OH down & told him we had totally done our bit - still doing our bit with our own animals - 4 horses & the cutest doggy.

Let the younger take over - you are now 70.

They just have to stop sometime - I for one got sick of it - not the animals - the phone calls.
