only when they get smelly.
but they are short haired
they also sometimes clean themselves like cats.
and they both like to chase the water out of the end of the hose.

judging by the smell that emanated from the backyard today, my dogs insides are well and truly clean

I have a toy poodle. He is clipped and washed every six weeks. Poodles have wool. They do not smell body wise but dogs with bad teeth can have an odour. Our poodle doesn't drop hair (wool).
Suffice to say, my first dog (a border collie x) was washed every week as I thought this was the "norm". Found out from the Vets that it strips their coat and skin.
Yes Zac is an inside doggie, wouldn't have it any other way 🙂

Just finished washing my schnauzer - don't have to go through that hell again for two weeks 😛
He won't speak to me for day's now X-(
