People usually like to show images of the peacock in full tail display but I had a peacock adopt me for my garden many years ago, a few properties back. Once it settled in it took to just sitting and sunning itself in the spring sunshine. So this pic reminds me of this special boy
I gave him to a local lovely couple who had other free roaming peacocks that were safely roosted high up in paddock trees before sunset. I was terrified that he would get taken by foxes if I left him in my yard. He could not be coaxed into the chook pen at night.
It took 5 of us and a net to catch him ! That was a tense session.....have to be quick but gentle
