Gay people have to tolerate heterosexual sex shoved down their throats in every movie, tv show, novel, on the streets, on the train, in restaurants, bars and parties. Ever considered that they don't want to know whether you are friends with the breeders?
Nothing much they can do about it, gays don't have a choice but to tolerate it 24/7, so I guess you can just suck up the notion of same-sex marriage for the minute or two a week you think about it.

Firslty, it is not shoved down there throats 24 / 7, it doesn't need to be because it isnt commented on.
I don't have a problem is someone or people are gay or whatever they want to be, as long as it is not in my face.
As someone said, Hetero is the norm. I won't go so far as saying gay is not normal but it is not the mainstream.
