The only way to even try to maintain freedom is to not let them take away your firearms. How many free countries disallow its citizens to own firearms.

I also want to be free from threat by all sorts of nutters with guns.   All civilized countries have system of licensing guns and gun owners.

why do we need them?

I live in suburbia, have no need for a gun any longer and don't do gun sports..............

Those days are gone, it's not the wild west.

I don't know, how many "free" countries disallow their citizens to own firearms ?  Australia doesn't.

That's why we need to curtail the UN and everything it stands for.

And at the same time the do gooders who run it as they are trying to take our freedom away from us.

Gun laws are a joke really. The responsible gun owners handed in their guns (or got registered) and the criminals hung onto them. The nutters who use these guns are the ones that didn't hand them in.

My younger brother committed suicide with a licensed and registered gun

My older cousin committed suicide with a licensed and registered gun

My younger cousin committed suicide with a licensed and registered gun

My uncle committed suicide with a licensed and registered gun

 

All 4 of them thought they needed the guns, they lived on farms. I wish someone had taken away their freedom.............and we wouldn't be still dealing with the trauma.

As much as I hate to see that, people who CS will find other ways to achieve the end result if firearms are not available.
