I don't get the need to indicate "straight" either. What's the point of pointing that out???? Unless she's homophobic or closed minded. Women can be your friends without coming onto you you know.

I think the problem is there are certain heterosexual characters out there who don't attract the opposite sex and the only way they can come to terms with this rejection is developing the unjustified belief that they are at least irresistable to the same sex.

This mind-set is prevalent especially amongst British, senior citizen old fogeys - which is ironic as they would be the last to attract a homosexual! 😄 

Or simply doesn't want to be thought of as something they are not!
