Morning everyone.

I was hoping for better news when I woke up this morning. It's very sad.  Even for the survivors, how are they ever going to get over this.

One very proud Nanny here.

Our grand daughter won the academic achievement award at her school today.

The teacher said she always asked the tricky questions.

I had a little giggle to myself when she said that.............I thought it was only me she asked the tricky questions to................like last week when she asked me how do dolphins have sex.

She also won a garden organisation award.

It is suppose to thunder here later..............really muggy and dark.

Our daughter also won the hamper raffle at the school.................gee it was a big one...........she is currently at home going through it and deciding what she wants............I hope she does not want to lemon meringue pie mix.

Congratulations to your granddaughter Flashie.  Well done!

Ummm... How do dolphins have sex?  I didn't watch that Attenborough show.

I read that you've had a huge hailstorm somewhere in Tassie,

weird weather here, it was so hot earlier and early this arvo it became very windy, no rain or thunderstorms, just very strong winds,

I hate the wind it makes me a bit edgey 

I found one cat hiding under the barbeque, the other one I haven't found yet

The storms were here..................it was brilliant...............still thundering every now and then.

The outside of my windows are now clean...............one job off my list.............thank you Mother Nature.

I can not convince hubby that we should still go for our walk tonight.........................piker........

Good evening Friends 

A very flat day.  The fragility of life got to many of us obviously.  I kept thinking of the sands in the hour glass slipping away all too quickly - too quickly to spend time reading some of the sadly predictable garbage I read around the traps.  

Good friends are like gold and and there is much gold here in RTR.  Someone once challenged me as to why I rarely post elsewhere - a quick look around simply confirms why I choose to do that.  Life is far too short to waste .......

Have a good evening friends - rest well and make sure you tell those you love how you feel

Yes, today was a very sad day.  So will the days to come be with the usual suspects.  Some of them I once called friend.

Anyway!  My sister just rang me to tell me that Love Actually is on channel 7.  My favourite Christmas movie.
