What if I accidentally forget what day it is?

Check in here everyday.. we will remind you.

I think Lindt has made a big push into the choc market in the supermarkets in the last couple of years.

Every Christmas & Easter they get (buy) the prominent positions on the end of the aisles and displays etc

We used to make yummy Chocolate with vegetable fat.

The old days 🙂

I never liked that homemade stuff. Did they use Kremelta? (coconut fat) I never liked anything with that in it. Give me pure cocoa butter!!

Yes it was Kremelta, I suppose when I was young we did not have a lot of lollies so home made chocolate tasted great, also home made fudge.

Mum used to bake every thursday night, kids lined up to lick the spoon 🙂

do CAdbury make those big multi flavoured chocolates? They cost about $6.00 and are not worth the money. All you can taste with them is all the sweet lollies they use in them.

Cadbury.

Real chocolate is made from cocoa and its ingredients include cocoa butter (an expensive part of the cocoa bean) and, in some cases, up to 5% vegetable fat. Compound chocolate will have less cocoa and/or more than 5% vegetable fat than real chocolate and therefore doesn't have the same fine qualities.

I guess it depends what their vegetable oil is made from, same as Lindt.

Pig fat wouldn't come under vegetable fat?

Sounds like the Macca's rumours (false) of the 90's... their soft serve icecream was made out of whipped pig fat.

Mostly it would be palm oil, which is ok as long as it is from a sustainable source.

Have you ever seen the youtube clip about Nestles Kit Kat?

Joono

for me, it's the packaging. I just don't like their new packaging and the blocks were smaller

I still like a box of Cadbury Roses chocolates every now and though  Smiley Happy
