Bought the champagne this morning, only have a bunnings voucher to get tomorrow and I am finished.

Brandy Custard for the pudding???

 

That's what I still have to get, but not for pudding, just for the Apfelschtrudel I am making. Hate making my own custard. The more careful I am, the more lumps I get.

I am glad I read this thread, I have been sitting here all day thinking what have I forgotten.

 

Thanks Erica I have forgotten the pudding, I have the custard but that is not much good without the pudding.

Erica, I already have my brandy custard, I buy that "Paul's" one in the carton. I bought that last week, didn't want to risk missing out on that and much easier than making it, I want to see the pudding alight with brandy and have the sauce all ready to go.

We may be crazy, but we make a big deal out of the blazing pudding, got plenty of brandy at hand for that too lol
