So gad for that reason.
What is your idea of very old aps?
My grandmother was still going strong at 93 and even my children did not consider their great grandmother "very old"....she just did not act "very old".

That is certainly a good age and I can understand why you want to have Christmas with them.
That was how we felt the year my father was 92. We had a lovely day with all 4 generations turning up. Dad must have known something because 5 months later, just 5 days after his birthday he was gone.

*GOOD AFTERNOON TO ALL*
One lovely Christmas eve this is! This morning we managed to get into the city at "almost" the crack of dawn and get out again before the traffic even got started, the shop had barely opened ... ![]()
The butcher shop, the curtain shop (don't ask!!) and then the tiny little IGA on the corner, that was it! Visitors dropping in all day today and tomorrow so we're ready for that, lots of little mince pies, cake, biscuits and other little bits and pieces as they go on their way! There's a roast and potatoes in the fridge (because I forgot to turn the crockpot on yesterday morning, so overnight it was ...
) but it's there, and tomorrow, on with the turkey!! Pavlova to make tonight; Australian friends can't have Christmas day without pavlova ... ![]()
Wishing all my friends here a very merry Christmas, hope all goes wonderfully and it is a lovely day for you .... ((((((( hugs )))))))
