small incident this morning.
someone popped a bottle of the special bubbles in the freezer last night to chill for lunch with his mum today. Said don't do it. They said just for 20 minutes...
I said well don't forget it! But rather you didn't. At all.
end result forgets it (of course) and it explodes. Glass and champagne ice Everywhere.
No sign of the cork.
I say, if you want to make champagne granita that's not the way to do it.
noone hurt
2 hours cleaning up
hubby's mum has the Rosé Chandon instead of the special special one. But finds it amusing. So after a lively day a lovely afternoon 🙂
Amber, you obviously didn't pay close enough attention to this posted clip:

Did everyone enjoy their boxing day? I hope so 🙂
I spent most of mine lying on the lounge watching dvd's or sleeping. Mr B shouted himself a new lappy at the "sales", so that is going to keep him amused for a while ( boys n their toys lol )

Just had a slap up meal, roast pork, roast chicken, both with all the trappings.
Very nice.

So it was kind of the 2 nd xmas lol
Had prawns, thousnd island dressing sauce, lettuce in a roll for lunch.very nice it was.
My gf cooked beef and reef on xmas lunch as her eldest, her and myself love it.
I cooked the steaks, she cooked the prawns and scallops in garlic cream sauce.
It was awesome.
Had a small ham dinner at my parents last night.
So overall, very full but content !
Leftovers for the next few days, then diet LOL
Ps
I cooked the first beef and reef a few years ago when I suggested we have it.

Sounds great aps, haven't had prawns for years, really love them when they are plump and fresh. Plenty of left overs here as well, no cooking in this house for few days at least.

My diet started today, I always whack on a few kilos at Christmas and think I'm gonna lose them during the year, but I dont. I ate well and walked 5 km so thats a good start, hopefully I can keep it up.
No leftovers here, thank god. Just a little bit of dessert and some chocolates that the kids can polish off.
