I am loving the cool days. Suspect it is the lull before the storm though, probably a hot jan/feb.

 

OH is becoming bored, I planned on taking him to the library this morning, but it is closed. They used to open between xmas and new year. 😞

 

He is in that phase of wanting to do things, but still not allowed.

Katy hard to keep a good man down, he has to behave him self or he will be back in Hospital.

 

Beautiful day here, managed to get heaps done, went down to the beach, even made a banana cake.

Lion you are so lucky to live close to the beach. I would be there every day if I did.

 

OH is not used to sitting around doing nothing. Just a few more weeks and he can start to do a few non strenuous things. His 'gardening' at the moment consists of trying to beat the blackbirds to the ripening tomatoes. 🙂

Katy when you live by the beach you take it for granted, I really have to get down there more now the weather is so nice.

 

I put my foot in the water and it felt cold but after a while I thought I could have a swim it feels warmer.

 

I am determined to have a swim this year and not be a sook 🙂

 

I felt good after being to the beach and even baked a Banana cake !!!!!

and one of the first signs of getting old is repeating yourself haha 🙂

Hi BC, have a Baileys for me. lol. I love banana cake too, but it is better I don't have any in the house. 🙂

It was not one of my best cakes as I halved the mixture and only had self rising flour BUT it tasted divine with Coffee eaten when still hot Yum,

 

Now unless the grand children come here I may have to eat the whole thing 🙂
