Chicken parmy (schnitzel with some grilled cheese on top) with a handful of chips 2 slices of tommy, rocket, ribbon carrot, a couple of slices of cucumber, ribbon capsicum $28.00

Bushie

I agree, the standard of food out, in pubs etc has gone down.

With the odd exception.

Sheeese Freddie, sounds pricey. ..... We had Chicken schnitzel for lunch at a local pub not long ago, it had been deep fried to a crisp, handful of soggy chips, yellow lettuce etc ..... Thats when we decided we would rather eat at home

Oh and dont get me started on the MUCK that most Chinese places serve these days  lol

I agree, I reckon 28 is a bit pricey for a chicken s.

You know the other thing I have noticed lately.

Reheated vegetables being served.

That is pricey. Eating out is dearer here, but still you would get better than that for $28.00.

I can only speak for my area aps and imo the standard of food served these days is no where near as good as it used to be or I have become very fussy lol

We had an entree of salt & pepper calamari ....5 rings tommy cut into chunks with rocket and lemon juice dressing with mint (which was their salsa) $18.90

So when are you going back freddie? lol

I'm fussy, I love to go out for a meal and I don't mind paying for a nice meal but I begrudge a slap together pricey meal. I like to leave the restaurant singing their praises, which unfortunately is not often.
