Goldie it is actually a P210 with enhancements like a 6" barrel. extended safety and slide release , and precision target sights. In the right hands it can group the size of a 50 cent piece at 50 meters. I am hoping i will achieve that in due course 🙂
The P226 has a 4" barrel

What an odd thing to say J.
On what basis do you base your gun owership suitability on?
Happy New Year, first of all. 🙂
"On what basis do you base your gun owership suitability on?"
Well, I would answer this by saying that those who only Want a gun without being able to demonstrate a Need to own one are unsuitable to own one.
Guns are not toys to be casually toyed with, even if they are only toyed with on an accredited shooting range.

Let me put it this way to you Lepetus, by your criteria, should a football player demonstrate a need for a football, should a golfer demonstrate a need for a golf club, should a baseball player demonstrate a need for a golf club?
The list is endless.
Many injuries, some of which are fatal have occurred in leisure activities and sports.
In the many years that i have belonged to my club there has only been one minor injury.
There was a young buxom competitor who delighted in trying to take advantage by wearing heavy perfume, short skirts and very low cut tops to competitions
At a state championship she wore shorts and a boobtube.
As fate would have it during the competition a spent, hot, cartridge case from her .38 semi automatic landed and lodged between her ample cleavage. she got a bit of a burn an her ego was kinda dented.
One minor injury in over 25 years
I wonder how many major injuries and fatalities have occurred in a football club, baseball club, basketball club in that period of time?
