Glorious morning here. Washing is done, floors are mopped and now I am sitting on the back balcony sipping my coffee and admiring the rearranging of the outdoor furniture and stuff I have just done.
I am hoping to get down for a swim later. I have been saying that almost every day lately but as soon as I am ready it starts clouding over and the wind gets up. Hopefully not today.
Have a great day everyone.

Awww, that's sad punch. Good advise though.
Bushie, this is part of one of his orchards:
Sorry, that's his vegie garden but it is an extension of the main orchard. This is one of the orchards.
We love going up there to stay for a few days. So peaceful and rural and they are good company as well. We have an agreement - if we go there we take nothing and vice versa. Last time they came they did bring us another chook!

@freddie*rooster wrote:Hello all, veal schnitzel and salad for dinner was very nice. I had an abundance of over ripe bananas thanks Princess
I wish she would only take what she can eat *naughty girl* so I made banana and ginger muffins today. I will take some out to the Princess and her young mates, i'm a bit worried about her best mate she's failing quickly I fear she hasn't long with us.
Good to see everyone is behaving, we had a much cooler day today and oddly my puffy hands are good at the moment.
I was watching Annabel Crabb interview Bob Hawke on the ABC a few days ago he made reference to cherries being a miracle cure for arthritis and said he has canned cherries on his cereal every morning. I had also heard of it being a cure for gout, so I have started having some cherries for breakfast to see how the fingers and feet react. All going well I might be walking on water soon
I have the most beautiful breeze blowing in my window heaven!
I'm glad it's something nice like cherries, I've never had canned cherries before though

Will ask my aunt about the canned ones, Young Maid, JD's Jam factory, touristy and restaurant................ my aunt worked there for years during the cherry season, they used to can them.
My aunt's pumpkin soup was a well known delicacy there, lol.
The ones I got this time were vans. They are divine. Firm, sweet and juicy.

Morning everyone.
Freddie, that was very interesting to hear about cherries being good for arthritis. I love cherries but they are not available all year round. I will check out whether canned ones have sugar added in which case they will be off the menu.
I'll let my sister know too as she suffers from arthritis in her hands and swollen fingers.

I'm still waiting to hear how Tomic went last night, I watched part of his game but due to the time I had to turn off the telly.
Seems like we are heading for a lovely 28deg today, nice if the humidity isn't too high.
Have a lovely day, must shower and get myself moving ♥
Not offering cherry pie but next time I get good cherries I shall send you some in the post.

The large jars of Morello cherries come in an unsweetened variety, I think.
