"Mental illness" is sometimes used as an excuse for alot of behaviour
I do believe there are some truly evil people out there.

Sometimes quite validly, then it's not an "excuse", and sometimes without any evidence. It is sorted out in the court system.

so, today she was released on bail.
the mind boggles. Either the police are feeding a story and or the magistrates have much more info than we do
