Aww shame about your rose Nic, but if you get hold of some good waterproof tape, you can stick it back together. (As long as a bit of it hasn't snapped) I did that years ago with one if mine and it's still growing OK

if it's totally snapped it's gone unfortunately

It hasn`t snapped completely so maybe I will get some tape..I will prune it right back and get someone to lift it and re stake/ tie it..maybe I can save it...thanks heaps DebSmiley Happy.r u free next Tuesday morning?

Yes and prune it back to take the weight off it, forgot to say that , hopefully you might be able to save it Nic.. But get onto it quickly. I will be there next Tuesday from 11 am

thanks and see you at 11.00am xxx

Oi Laney! I want one of those now.

Yes I am back at Curves but it's the weigh-ins that will need to wait until March.  I think I can squeeze in a Magnum before then 😄

Nics, that's a real shame about the rose.  I hope you can fix it successfully.

Joono

Pity about your rose Nics but it looks like some of the cambium layer is still intact and if you tape it up firmly as Deb suggested (after pruning it right back) there will be hopefully enough tissue to carry the sap through.  Get to it quickly though - time is of the essence with things like that.  Good luck!

j*oono - a Pat Rafter or a salted caramel magnum ...... or both lol

Nics mentioned a honeycomb one too - might have to place an order for some of those!

BTW Deb - our local Woolies has them apparently.

.

thanks Laney, they sound really yummy. I love anything caramel, but I'm not allowed to look for them as I'm trying to lose a couple of kgs. here lol

morning all

very thundery night last night, we did go for a walk which was quite pleasant. It's a bit ccoler here today but still hot indoors

Morning everyone.  I have a question for you.

I retyped my nephews resume because he needs some copies in a hurry and their computer has crashed. Changes needed to be made.

I swapped it around a bit and put his most recent work history first. The old copy had his 1st job after school first.  Now I'm worried whether I should change it back.

What should come first? Most recent or starting from beginning?

It's 30 degrees for the next five days here which is I suppose not too bad if the humidity stays down.
