Yes, it was you amber that helped by posting info about using Chrome on the ipad by clicking on desktop site, and it worked pretty well when you suggested it. Then it turned bad

 

If  you typed some text and wanted to go back to piece of text and correct it/add something you had to click that 3 bar symbol twice to be able to do that,  and do that every time you needed to change some text... it really wasn't worth the effort then.

Yes, editing a typo in Chrome is a pain 😞

I still use Chrome for most things. Some sites don't play well with Safari request desktop site. I buy things regularly from a major retailer and their site won't go desktop in Safari, but will in Chrome.

I don't know why I prefer Safari to Chrome on the ipad. I use Chrome on my computers. Probably just because I set favourites and everything up on Safari. Only put Chrome on there later to try and be able to use all the functions on CS.

I use a bigger screen (laptop) for any serious business like buying online rather than the mini one.

Saved homescreen icons open through Safari, too. I never shopped on the PC as I shop online at night.

Been using the Safari browser for pics for a couple of months, good to get it out and about Lurker 🙂

Would be great if there was one browser that just worked all the time!

I had no luck posting a saved pic. Gave up. Was a fair chance I may have got a bit frantic and hit the button too many times.

Electronics dont like that very much!

There were some new emoticons on the ipad keypad, and I tried a ladybird one but got a big pink error.

I haven't seen those yet ttt, my motto is... Never try too much new stuff at once

Posting a saved pic  on the ipad, is just the same as doing it on a pc. I didn't have any problem... so it can't be that bad!
