Bushie, we had a very loud storm here during the night. The thunder was so loud. Today it is steamy already, not much air and very humid. No a good day for asthmatics. So far, so good though. Our bird baths are full and some pine bark has been flood off the garden so we must have had a lot of rain.
Had a long day in Melbourne yesterday. My friends appointment was 2.10 and she got out at 5.20 which caught us right in the middle of peak hour. I was parked in Victoria Parade and I spent hours sitting in the car reading and renewing the parking tickets every hour. There was a cafe near by so I grabbed a coffee now and again. We had some heavy downfalls during the day plus a bit of thunder. Got home after 8.
Tomorrow we are off on our break so won't be online for a while. I used to have wi-fi which was good when travelling but you could only get 15gigs so we changed to broadband as we needed more so can't take it with me now. Wondering if it's worth buying a prepaid modem from T. I do have an Op one but it is so slow that it's not worth having.
Doing some cooking today to take with us - we are staying with rellies so like to cover our meals and theirs as well to repay them for their hospitality.
Enjoy your day everyone ....
I think you're getting your wifi mixed up with mobile wireless.
There are some really cheap options for mobile data these days which might be good for holidays and short breaks away.
If you still have the wireless device a new sim with bonus data would suit a holiday.

I found that when I get that message I have to resize the photo before uploading, either by cropping or reducing quality. If it's a png image they will reduce in size by saving as jpeg to some extent. You can resize in paint if you have no other editing program on your comp.

Hi everyone, I wish I was freezing fruit but our gigantic pear tree has sawfly and they've already defoliated most of the leaves. I'm not sure how to treat it yet. Too late for this year I think

Good evening everyone. Back already from our break. We had a thoroughly great time and wished we could stay longer. They wanted us to but Frank has his RSL vollie job tomorrow - or so he thought. Get home and it doesn't start tomorrow, grrr!
Walked a lot, toured a lot, walked along the beach and boardwalk and the men went out in the boat and actually caught their bag of fish each time.
I was good to get home to the animals though. We picked the cat up from the cattery on the way home. Even the chooks seemed pleased to see us
.
I took my 4G modem to T and I couldn't use it because it wasn't prepaid and I didn't want to add another plan (which they said I would have to do to use it), so I bought a prepaid modem that you could use more than 1 device with - $100 for 3 gigs. In future I only have to pay for the gigs. It only lasts for 30 days so I have left it up there for the ellies to use and they also have prepaid modems. Was probably a waste of money as I didn't use it much as we were too busy.
Haven't read back but hope everyone is well. I'll be back later (or in the morning).

sandy - 1 device with - $100 for 3 gigs.
You probably do have to pay that much up front the first time to get the device, but as you said, in future you will only need to buy the GB's. to use it away from home.
We had a short NBN outage at home a while ago, as compensation we got a free 100GBs extra this month, 120GBs all up for the month. Never going to get through all that, especially as youngest who usually lives at home is away oseas for 2 months.. she would have had no problems using that up.

Good morning,
Pouring rain here, it stated around 3am hasn't stopped, not that I am complaining :). Hopefully it will head over east, if it hasn't done so already.
