Gender neutral toilets, new loos, new signs, for HOW many ?
The extra expense is staggering so a few don't get offended.

Why would the extra expense be staggering? In fact, what extra expense would it entail?

Nothing really offends me.
When I have really let rip - at a particularly persistent cold caller, they hung up so fast
It was funny and I never got a call again, in fact I think I ended up on a Do not call list.

I would imagine that there would be a cost to change things but in the long run it would benefit everybody. Gender specific toilets have to be doubling up. I have seen before queue in front of "ladies", and guys going in and out as the women wait. And as the article says:
"Gender-specific restrooms can be unwelcoming and potentially unsafe for many people whose gender identity falls outside of traditional gender norms.
They also hope to make "public restrooms more welcoming and safer for transgender and gender nonconforming people, people with disabilities or with personal attendants and for people with children of a different gender".
Remember the child killed in the toilets while mother waited outside?

I really can't see what changes would be needed except perhaps to alter the signs.
The article refers specifically to single stall toilets or "any facility designed for use by no more than one person,' so it doesn't sound like they would have to be ripping out rows of urinals

I think you are right, I read it wrong; I thought they need to change all toilets to cubicles only 🙂
If they are just changing the signs, then why is anybody getting their knickers in the twist? ![]()
