If I wanted to, I could. I have a very dark garage.
I look at it this way with growing things, whats the worst that can happen ?

Morning all, "Zero dark hundred" here at the moment ![]()
Had to take the dog to the vet last night, seems to have a bit of an itchy skin allergy to something
but that should soon be cleared up.
Got a couple of small things that should turn up from an ebay buyer today which will be good.
Anyway, you's all 'av a good one.

Had a bit of a win yesterday when buying a couple of things.
For ages, the GF has been eyeing off one of these, a Breville Variable+Temperature+Electric+Kettle
ever since she saw it at my parents house. But she refused to pay $149 for it so kept looking.
Some places have it for around $128.
Anyway, two days ago, her old rice cooker stopped working so did the on line look thing and found this
Breville risotto rice cooker. Found it for $99 (Most are at $120 - 130).
Anyway, when out collecting a book, we stopped in at JB Hi Fi but they didn't have them so stopped in at The Good Guys
who had both of them on hand.
Now, I normally don't bother bargaining on price (unless I think it is excessive) but said to the GF I am going to see if
they will do both for $199.
Well, after waiting for the sales guys to finish with others, I asked the question, he looked it up and said YES straight away !
(It worked out at about 20% off).
So she is a happy lady, new kettle, new rice AND RISOTTO Cooker and I have been given a lecture on what NOT to do
with both of them
(I still cook rice in a Saucepan ! LOL)
And I have now been told that when she buys the new TV and Stereo, I have to go with her to negotiate ![]()
(One benefit of having a thick skin and never being embarrassed)
Happy wife, happy life ![]()

Here is a question for you who go shopping more than I do.
Do you haggle or negotiate on price for things ?
