ibis .. ROFL ...

Hey DDU it's really hot outside, 41 or something. I just sprayed the chickens with water I think they liked it 😄 They certainly didn't get out the way too fast 🙂

I've been spraying their area all afternoon this time I put the spray hose right on them :^O

Mine have an old car to hide under and a little swimming pool to play in if they want to.

I think i'd be worried about hosing them as the sun would make the water hot on them ...

Well they are in the shadiest spot, a little area with ferns that they like to get under. I only have 2 girls now you know 😞

Just make sure they have plenty of cold water ...

My husband said,

Now that I'm in a city area it's not foxes I havce to worry about it's cats X-(

I have the perfect spot for my two girls, down the side of the house in the shade, bit of sun, small garden area (poor neighbours on that side, oh well) but I got home at lunch today and saw the corner shops cat spying on my girls! X-(

Tonight I have bricked up the gap in the corner, wired up the top fence and the rest I'll have to hope for the best.

The cats here leave the girls alone, although they might hassle small chooks.     You can confine your girls so they don't freerange in the yard and the cats can't get them.
