Strange goings on with that ashby person

The Age, SMH, Herald Sun, Australian, AFR, Bulletin.

I just did a quick search, every PM has them done to them.

Hawke - Nose

Howard - Ears

Gillard - backside, Nose

Abbott - Ears, lips

Rudd - Boyish smile and ?????

That type of thing was par for the course of the satirical and comedy routines on TV where they mercilously

took the p out of pollies.

You only object because she is a women and not fair game. She was 100% fair game.

Noses and ears are not sexist Like the descriptions of her body parts

If you think that's fine, well we went to different schools is all I can say

Debra

So it's OK to make fun of someone's nose, ears, budgie smugglers, skinny / fat legs

but not they are on a female pollie ?

Is that correct ?

Double standards.

See thread re the Brisbane club 7 and the comments by females on that,

I suppose you will say that is NOT sexist ?

I haven't read it yet . Are they talking a bout a politician?

Seriously aps. That sort of behavior, the menu written by a supposedly grown man, a politician cannot be justified , so might as well stop talking about it

I Don't disagree with you. just if that same thig had been done as Satire by comedians,

it would have been classed as OK comedy.

But it ok for a woman to make similar cmmeents about Gina Rinehart after a photo of her was posted on another thread ?

"I feel so sad for Gina when I see this pic.....she is so bloated and her body must be full of so many toxins to be in this 'shape/condition'......her hands and hair follicles are the only things that look normal."

You posted on it twice.  This is one of your posts.  Too late to be offended now.   Smiley LOL

"I did laugh when I read that yesterday or the day before".

Polka

Yes, no problems with that. If I had been face to face with one of the guys who was trying to join the club,

I would have laughed in front of him AND made a few very choice comments as well.

BTW, I was NOT offended.

What is wrong with that? Paints (I think it was) said that she felt bad for her. You must admit Gina does look extremely unhealthy.

It wasn't said in jest to hurt anyone.
