Busy here re vamping the front garden, it's starting to take shape now the 2nd side had been done. All the old sleepers have been cut up and are now in wood shed. The steps are next, just have to wait for the extra timber to be delivered on Tues.

PD hope the shed has been repared and all is now ok

OMG PD, what a mess .... You have a lot of trees near your house

I think it'll be a week or so before its back to normal. The guys are insured but preferred to fix it themselves rather than make a claim and we're ok with that. They've been here since 7am and will probably have a few more days before its all back together and the tree is cut up as arranged.

I guess no matter how careful they are, accidents can still happen, at least they are trying to be responsible and fix it up for you which is something

Its quite a way from the house bushie but it was a pretty big tree. They thought they'd pulled it far enough across to miss the shed but not quite as it turns out.

Another couple of angles. They didnt take any photos before I got home so nothing with the tree actually on the shed.

They say its the first such incident in 15 years and one is quite good friends with my husband, no reason not to believe him. He dropped a tree quite close to our house a couple of weeks ago and was much more careful. He had much more room to work with this time and it really was only a small miscalculation. Not worth getting upset over, it'll be fixed.
