Oh, I only buy good quality items - I'm no hoarder and I don't have a house full of carp to offload. The pennies I paid was certainly worth it, believe me... 😉

LOL amethyst, you're not very thorough, are you? You also don't read the posts correctly. I already informed the forum that I bought from several private auctions - obviously I spent more than $12.20 and no, they weren't quality items but worth it, believe me B-)

It's a fallacy to believe that just because something does not cost much it is not of quality.

For instance I purchased a .73 carat solitaire diamond in a white gold setting  for just under $1000.

Both the gold and the diamond have lasted the test of time, millions of years, and no doubt they will still be around when all of us here are either vampires or dust.:)

There was an amethyst on offer as well but that was a shoddy article
