OP, you must have rose-coloured glasses on (no surprise there) - what about Alexander Downer ?  Andrew Peacock ?   Brendan Nelson ?  And for political balance, I'll even throw in Mark Latham (although he did have his good points)

I don't like him as an "opposition" leader either.  Luckily that will change after the next federal election.
